Donna Gregorio

 

Statement of Purpose

I am honored to seek re-election as Vice President of Professional Development. Over the past two years, I’ve dedicated myself to expanding valuable programming to support our members’ career growth. Key initiatives I’ve spearheaded include the Women in Project Management Roundtable, which fosters networking, mentorship, and empowerment among our members. Additionally, I facilitated the affiliation of Northeastern University’s Project Management student group with PMI Global, strengthening connections between academia and professional practice.

My mission is clear: to ensure project management professionals remain irreplaceable—not irrelevant—by equipping them with the strategic skills, mindset, and opportunities they need to succeed and thrive.

Biographical Information

I have over 40 years of experience as a seasoned project manager, published author, and respected educator. Currently, I serve as an adjunct professor teaching Project Management at Northeastern University’s College of Professional Studies. My previous role as IT Department Head at MITRE Corporation involved managing a team of 30 staff members overseeing 50+ complex IT projects. I hold certifications including PMP, PMI-ACP, CBAP, ITIL, and Agile Scrum Master/Product Owner. My book, “The Successful Project Manager,” provides practical tools to overcome typical project challenges. My educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Tufts University and a master’s in Computer Engineering from Northeastern University.


Gurer Gundondu Burchill

 

Statement of Purpose

Having served as Event Manager and currently as Associate Vice President of Events, I’ve experienced firsthand the power of thoughtfully designed, inclusive programs in energizing our community. My goal is to bring this same passion, energy, and strategic vision to the PMI Mass Bay Board. I prioritize collaboration, clarity, and continuous improvement and aim to respond effectively to member feedback and evolving community needs.

My key objectives as Director-at-Large include:

  • Evolving our programming based on direct member input.
  • Strengthening volunteer satisfaction and cross-functional team collaboration.
  • Implementing operational improvements to streamline volunteer efforts and enhance event quality.

Biographical Information

I am a certified Project Management Professional (PMP, CSM) with nearly five years of project leadership experience, primarily within the education sector and at Common App. At Common App, I support internal Project Management Office (PMO) operations, leading multiple initiatives in enterprise risk management, data privacy, and product development. My professional approach emphasizes aligning diverse stakeholders—from data analysts to tech teams and vendors—in collaborative, human-centered environments. With PMI Mass Bay, I mentor new event managers and actively drive process improvements for greater efficiency and impact.


Lewis Lau

 

Statement of Purpose

Project Management has profoundly impacted my professional growth, and my ambition is to provide similar opportunities to others. As PMI Mass Bay’s current Vice President of Technology, I champion innovation and inspiration through strategic technological advancements. Having completed the Mass Bay mentorship program myself, I deeply value education and continuous professional development. My vision includes enhancing PMI’s programming to be cutting-edge, inclusive, and highly beneficial to both seasoned professionals and those new to the field.

Biographical Information

I am currently Vice President of Technology at PMI Mass Bay and manage complex pharmaceutical manufacturing projects professionally. I earned my PMP certification in 2016 after initially obtaining my CAPM certification in 2015. I hold an MBA and a Master of Science in Manufacturing from Boston University, underscoring my expertise in both management and technological processes. Since relocating from Ontario, Canada, to Boston in 2018, I have been an active participant in PMI’s local community, continuously advocating for accessible, relevant, and transformative educational opportunities for project management professionals.


Ruojing Wang

 

Statement of Purpose

Since joining PMI Mass Bay in 2022, I’ve been privileged to serve as Director of eBlast and currently as Associate Vice President of Marketing. In these roles, I successfully delivered hundreds of engaging email communications to more than 10,000 subscribers, enhancing chapter engagement and promoting our events. This experience has deepened my insight into the chapter’s operational excellence and mission-driven approach.

I seek election to the board to continue strengthening our community through improved communication, strategic marketing, and elevated member engagement. My focus will be on adapting our chapter’s approach to align with emerging technologies and evolving member expectations, ensuring sustained relevance and impact.

Biographical Information

I bring over 20 years of international project management experience, beginning my career leading real estate and urban development projects in Shanghai during China’s urbanization boom. Since moving to Boston in 2014, I’ve continuously advanced my professional and academic development in project management and business administration. My educational credentials include Bachelor of Engineering (BE), Master of Science (MS), Executive MBA (EMBA), and PMP certification. With a deep passion for Arts, Design, and urban planning, I strive for innovation and excellence in all professional endeavors.


Dan Yotive

 

Statement of Purpose

I’m committed to elevating PMI Mass Bay’s impact by deepening member engagement, enhancing professional development opportunities, and driving innovative programming. As a leader in our chapter, I’ve significantly contributed to the annual Professional Development Conference (PDC), focusing on curating rich, impactful content and fostering vibrant community connections. My ambition as Director-at-Large is to amplify these successes, ensuring our chapter remains dynamic and supportive for all members.

My leadership within PMI Mass Bay has encompassed critical roles in planning and executing our flagship Professional Development Conference and other significant chapter activities. Combining strategic planning with hands-on project execution, I prioritize collaboration and continuous improvement, creating environments that inspire engagement and professional growth. My professional background reflects a commitment to excellence, clear communication, and a deep understanding of what makes project management communities thrive.
