Last Saturday, we had the incredible opportunity to join forces with the Greater Boston Food Bank (GBFB) for a meaningful day of service. Our team, along with a dedicated group of volunteersâincluding students from Harvard Business Schoolâcame together with a shared mission: to fight food insecurity in our community.
The Impact We Made
Together, we made a tangible difference by packaging a total of 17,280 lbs of food. This effort resulted in:
- 16 pallets filled with essential food items
- 36 boxes per pallet
- 30 lbs of food per box
- 14,400 meals distributed to individuals and families in need
Each box represents more than just foodâit represents hope, relief, and the power of community coming together to support those facing food insecurity.
A Team Effort
This event would not have been possible without the enthusiasm and hard work of every volunteer. Our PMI MB team and the second group, primarily composed of Harvard Business School students, worked side by side to ensure that each box was filled and ready for distribution. The collaboration and energy in the room were inspiring, proving that when people unite for a cause, great things happen.
