Voting Details
On August 31st members will receive an eballot via email. Members will have thirty days to cast their vote. The Chapter will announce the election results on or around October 3rd 2023.

2023 Candidates for Director-at-Large
Donna Gregorio
I have been a PMI member and Mass Bay member for many years, achieving my PMP back in 2011 and working as a leader of project managers ever since. In volunteering with PMI Mass Bay for the past year as AVP of Roundtables, I have an inspired view of the inner workings of the board, including goals, foundations, and the team. I am keenly aware of the need for project management programming, having presented myself at a couple of PMI Mass Bay Roundtable events. In joining the board, I hope to contribute my experience in the latest trends and concerns in the industry to help drive the programming to ensure interest, attendance and validity. I have collected a network of project managers and hope to leverage those relationships going forward to help grow the speaker team. I am devoted to growth and relevance of the speakers and will look to use the board position as a catalyst for further dedication and networking that the PMI Mass Bay chapter invokes. It is a wonderful and devoted team of people and I’m excited to continue to volunteer in a higher capacity.
Biographical Information
Donna Gregorio is a veteran Project Manager and Department Head of the IT PMO at The MITRE Corporation, a strategic consulting company for the Federal Government. She has been the Associate Vice President for Roundtables at PMI Mass Bay for the last year. In 2020 she published her book “The Successful Project Manager” which tells stories of challenges she has faced in complex projects and the solutions for driving project success. She is a seasoned conference speaker including at PMI Global 2022, Las Vegas. She has taught Project Management Principles at Northeastern University. She holds a BS in computer science and math at Tufts and an MS in Computer Engineering from Northeastern.
Lewis Lau
Project Management has been instrumental in my career advancement, and I would like to bring the same experience to other professionals new or experienced. Passing CAPM exam in 2015 and certified PMP in 2016, I have always been an active member of the local chapter (previously in Ontario, Canada, and currently Massachusetts). Having moved to Boston in 2018, I completed the Mass Bay mentorship program as a mentee and have been serving the technology as a volunteer. I believe that PMI education should be innovative, inspiring, and beneficial to communities. I sought to bring a fresh, rational perspective to the table, and diligently deliver promises in renewing the value of PMI programs.
Biographical Information
Lewis Lau is the Vice President of Technology and currently manages the chapter’s technology team. Professionally, he manages manufacturing projects in the pharmaceutical industry. He earned his Project Management Professional (PMP) in 2016. He is passionate in building pragmatic and simple solutions to enable organizations. He has a MBA and MS from Boston University.
Svetlana Lyons
I have been on board since 2022 and would like to continue serving to keep contributing to increasing awareness of both the Chapter and the PMI brand within PMI MassBay chapter. I plan to continue building a team to design and execute various marketing initiatives to support member acquisition, retention, event promotion, outreach activities and other related activities in alignment with the Chapter’s strategic objectives, PMI policies, brand guidelines and global marketing strategy.
Biographical Information
Ms. Lyons holds a master’s degree in social science from the Saint-Petersburg Pedagogical University. She earned her PMP in 2008 and has been a chapter member since 2009. Multi-skilled manager with digital marketing and project/product management experience. Responsible for conducting market research, developing product specifications, and creating a project timeline that’s shared with the entire development team.
Bill Mackiewicz
I have been a member of the Mass Bay Chapter since 2006, and part of the Board since 2022 as the Executive Vice President. Between my service on the board and leading the Chapter’s mentoring program from 2020 to 2021, I have welcomed the opportunity to give back to the Chapter.
I’m interested in helping members get more out of their Chapter membership, especially as we work past the shift to virtual meetings over the past couple of years and look to have more connections in person. Response time to member inquiries is important to me, whether its helping new members feel welcomed to the Chapter, providing introductions to other members who can help with more detailed questions, or helping members find ways to volunteer with us in the Chapter.
I’m seeking re-election so I can help the Chapter continue to build a solid strategic plan with the flexibility to meet member needs. I’d like to use my experience in identifying roles, responsibilities, and strong skill sets to develop training and succession plans to support a resilient board for the years to come.
Biographical Information
I am a program manager at Raytheon BBN Technologies, managing software development efforts that range from research & development prototypes to operational Programs of Record for the Department of Defense. I received my PMP certification in 2017 and have a BA in Astronomy and Physics from Boston University. I have two kids that just left the nest (more time for volunteering!) and two dogs (both of whom usually join virtual chapter meetings in the background).
Vidyaranya Manda
I currently volunteer at PMI MassBay Chapter as their VP Corporate Outreach specifically around Sponsorship & Partnership opportunities and in past volunteered as AVP Corporate Outreach and as a Mentor on their mentoring program. On reading the 2023 Call for Nominations and noting the opportunity to further advance the mission of PMI Mass Bay by being a member of the Board of Directors, I got very interested to nominate myself for the Directors-at-Large position and continue refining & executing sponsorship pull programs put addressing post COVID era.
Given all the above alignment with my current volunteering and on my work experiences to the asked role responsibilities, qualifications and industry tenure contributing to the continued success for PMI MassBay Chapter along with the opportunity presented to further sharpen my leadership skills, I have put in my own nomination for the Directors-at-Large position

My work experiences center in a Global Client-facing Success leadership role building pre-sales business development, post-sales services strategies to successfully grow the business, maximize technology solutions delivery value with high satisfaction & loyalty, optimize revenue recognition & protection by overseeing a portfolio of cross-industry (financial services, health-care, retail, public utilities, educational institutions) fortune 1000 global accounts.
I am acutely aware of quota carrying accountability, contracts bid-defense, cost/benefit return-of-investment analysis, develop and align metric driven engagement models absorbing corporate strategy and initiatives, people manager with experience managing managers and individual contributors, build strong relationships with C-level executives and fulfill the function of a trusted advisor.
