About the Role: • The Director of Project Management will manage of team of five or more direct reports including Project Managers and Project Coordinators who are engaged in clinical trial set-up and driving site adoption. • This role serves as the main point of -escalation and maintains strong relationships with key representatives at top pharmaceutical, CROs, imaging core labs, and Electronic Data Capture clients. • This position ensures that all work is conducted and documented in compliance with approved procedures for new and current clinical trials. • The Director will work closely with Business Development and play a significant role in building strong relationships that impact sales performance. • Responsible for developing, maintaining, and implementing training curriculum on a regular basis to ensure relevance and conformance with best practices. • Develop training materials catered to the end user and specific-trial workflow; Execute online and live training presentations. • Responsible for hiring, training, performance reviews and professional development to Project Management staff • Equally comfortable as a manager and/or individual contributor • Ability to influence and drive people in a matrix management structure • Works with Senior Director, Service Delivery to define KPI’s, metrics and performance standards for the Project Management Group • Reports to Senior Director, Service Delivery
Education/Work Experience: • BA/BS with minimum of ten years of Project Management experience in software implementation, or within the clinical trials/life sciences arena. • Proven track record of successful training results with ability to clearly instruct and direct others. • Demonstrate excellent facilitation, presentation and organization skills. • Ability to maintain effective working relationships cross-functionally. • Good listening skills, collaborative, team-oriented, and highly-organized. • Proactive, self-driven, able to work well in an unstructured environment while meeting all deadlines. • Possess solid computer skills, expert-user with Microsoft Project, (proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, WebEx). • Experience in AGILE development environment preferred • Certification as a Project Manager preferred.
