About the role:

Lead and manage cross functional teams to develop new products from concept to commercialization in the Urology and Pelvic Health division utilizing our product development and product life cycle processes.

Your responsibilities include:

Identify, coordinate and manage all activities required to complete the project or task and ensure timely completion.
Effectively lead project team ensuring good cross-functional communications and provide input to functional managers on team and team member performance.
Ensure current BSC policies and practices are followed and accurate documentation requirements are followed.
Generate high-level plans, communications, and schedules to assist with task prioritization and workload adjustments.
Identify resources (people and $$) required for project activities, develop project budgets, resource allocations and timelines.
Assess business risks and prioritize tasks to mitigate risks as quickly as possible.
Identify, communicate, and manage technical and business risks.
Delegate and manage tasks among team members as appropriate to drive execution of project deliverables and minimize risk.
Communicate with personnel in various BSC manufacturing locations including all levels of management.
Liaison between the team and the Project Investment Board (PIB).
Responsible for leading phase and business reviews and for documenting project meeting minutes, issues log, decision logs, metrics, and other key communications.

What we’re looking for:

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering and 7+ years of technical work experience in product development OR
Master’s Degree in Science or Engineering and 5+ years of technical work experience in product development.
Demonstrated project management experience managing the entire project lifecycle.
Fluency using project management tools (e.g. MS Project, SharePoint/Outlook Risk Register, Resource & Budget Planning, visual management, etc.).
Strong organization and execution skills including demonstrated ability to confidently own the top responsibility for project completion.
Experience leading cross functional team to develop new products.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and influencing skills, including presentation to internal executive teams and healthcare professionals.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the medical products industry a plus.
PMP® certification desired
Ability to travel up to 25% including some international travel.
