I came to the conclusion that awareness of project management was very undervalued. We, who includes every one of you who’s a part of the PMI global community, have a duty to educate and to promote our expertise as professionals to a variety of worthy causes. Be it working with a Habitat of Humanity, becoming involved with one of our academic institutions, or promoting within your company, all of these endeavors help to promote the value of project management.

Mike Marco, PMP, founder and president of eConsulting Group in Chicago, delivered a high impact presentation on a difficult topic for any professional group to digest after an 8 hour plus workday and chicken dinner at the Marriott. Mr. Marco’s analysis, presented at the February Mass Bay PMI chapter meeting, underscored the professional education to be gleaned by attending. This particular keynote speaker generated a bundle of take-aways for the audience.
