Networking at PMI Mass Bay Chapter meetings with other members is a great way to meet people willing to refer you to a contact for information gathering or employment opportunities. Imagine the benefits of networking with members outside of meetings too. The PMCC team did.

As I look back to last month, and knowing the photo of Neal from the chapter meeting would be in this newsletter, I decided to share some personal thoughts about the event. I suppose every one of has a hero, or someone whom they look up to, or who changed their life in some way. Neal Whitten is just one of those people, at least for me.

The Project Management Client Oriented Results(PM/COR) model presents the five compelling needs of every client and how the successful project manager can refine the five "soft skills"/competencies that satisfy those needs and creates trust with their client. Ken Mauldin presented the audience with an easy to remember 5X5 model for achieving successful client oriented results consistently.

Spearheaded by Frank Saladis, the president of the Project Management Institute’s New York City chapter and coordinated by the International Institute for Learning (IIL) and allPM.com, November 3, 2005 was observed as International Project Management day.
