President's Letter
by Ed Horniak, President
Dear Colleagues,
I am very pleased as your new President to welcome you back to another year with the PMI Mass Bay Chapter. While our Chapter meetings were on hiatus during the summer, I have been busy with your Board of Directors. We held a Strategic Planning meeting where we refined Our Mission Statement and formulated a Vision to move our Chapter forward over the next several years. This exciting work is continuing as we speak, leading to the development of specific Goals and Objectives to be finalized in early September. I will share these with you in our next Newsletter.

This true story begins about two years ago, when the American Eagle Federal Credit Union, a rapidly growing financial institution in East Hartford, Connecticut, made a commitment to dramatically improve their approach to project management. What followed was the design and installation of an entire project management infrastructure, suited to their unique business needs.

I am also keen to listen to and understand your ideas and perspectives. Over the past year, you have seen major improvements in communication with our members, such as this e-Newsletter, and I certainly thank our former Director, Barbara Alevras, PMP, for an outstanding job.
I hope to continue to make improvements to our Website and other forms of communication while also promoting our Chapter and events within the local community.
