Andrew Stellman has been building software professionally for over ten years.He has led teams of programmers and managed numerous projects. Andrew founded the Software Engineering Process Group and returns to Carnegie Mellon as a guest lecturer on project management and process improvement. Jennifer Greene began her software engineering career in the early 1990s. She has since built and led software engineering teams in organizations spanning finance, non-profit, natural language processing and media. She has created and staffed project management positions, built QA teams and led major outsourcing efforts. Andrew and Jennifer started working together in 1998.
 

They initially defined the software process at the company where they were working, and have since run many successful projects together. They founded Stellman and Greene Consulting in 2003, initially to serve the scientific and academic community.


They have collaborated on two books: Applied Software Project Management and Head First: PMP : A Brain Friendly Guide , (O’Reilly Publishing) and a blog on Building Better Software.
