Program Committee Member

At the end of June, Maggie Kurko will be retiring from her position as the Chapter's Director of Programs. We have identified a replacement to continue her outstanding effort. Ann O'Connell will be transitioning to this role, from her former position as Recording Secretary. The volunteers for the speakers program commitee will work with Ann and other speaker program team members for the upcoming PMI Mass Bay chapter year (2006-2007). The speaker program committee will
ensure our presentations are of the highest quality, geared to our audience, and cover a broad range of project management knowledge areas. Activities will be performed by committee members such as review of presentation slides, recruiting of top-notch speakers, and welcoming of out of town speakers.

Qualifications: Is a current member of the Chapter

Length of term:  1 year

Advertising Chair

Synopsis: The PMI Mass Bay Chapter seeks a volunteer to lead the effort in obtaining advertising for the monthly e-newsletter.

The chapter is in need of an energetic and dedicated individual who will lead the effort in marketing advertisement opportunities in the
PMI Mass Bay chapter e-newsletter to organizations and companies in the project management business community. Due to the resignation of our Director of Advertising, William Masse, because of personal and family reasons, we need to fill this position as soon as possible. Bill has done a wonderful job in obtaining and maintaining sponsors during this chapter year.

The volunteer selected for this position will work during the remainder of this year’s term (May and June) as well as next year's term. The Advertising Chair
insures that our e-newsletter effort is supported by qualified and professional industry advertisements regarding project management and related knowledge areas in management.  The time commitment for this position is on average about eight (8) hours per month initially. The time commitment should decrease over the chapter year as continuing newsletter sponsorship is obtained. The ad revenue generated from the newsletter sponsors is very important in enabling the chapter leadership to provide more services and offerings to the general membership.

Qualifications: Is a current member of the Chapter

Length of term:  1 year
