Introducing...New Chapter Volunteers

Please join us in welcoming the following PMI Mass Bay Chapter members to their new volunteer positions...

Director of Corporate Relations - Steve Mondazzi

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Steve Mondazzi to the PMI Mass Bay Chapter’s Board of Directors as the new Corporate Relations Director.  Here is what Steve had to say about his recent appointment and his professional background:

I am excited about my recent appointment as Director of the Corporate Relations committee and the challenges that lie ahead for the team.  My background has been primarily in account management and project management working in a variety of hi tech fields, including surface mount technology, semiconductor automation, telecommunications, biopharma business systems and most recently in government contracting.  For nine years, I supported direct customer relationships, which involved proposal development and high-level executive presentations.  I’ve been in project management since 1999 and have had the opportunity to lead programs involving semiconductor automation, software development and business systems implementations.

For the past four months, I have been with BAE Systems in Hudson, NH working primarily on government programs in support of our military operations.  I have an associate degree in Quality Management from Northern Essex Community College and a B.S. in Business Management from Rivier College in Nashua, NH.  Since joining PMI and the Mass Bay chapter a year ago, it’s been clear how great an organization this is and how dedicated it’s member are in furthering the advancement of professional Project Management.  I look forward to contributing my talents and efforts any way I can.

Advertising Coordinator – William (Bill) Masse

We believe that the Chapter will benefit from having someone specifically dedicated to enhancing our advertising efforts.  Bill Masse’s appointment to the new Advertising Coordinator position will ensure this Chapter activity receives the attention it deserves.  Bill is just the guy to move this program forward.

Media Coordinator – Linda Eovine

Linda Eovine has accepted the Chapter’s new position as Media Relations Coordinator.  As an enthusiastic and talented key, Linda will add tremendous value to our efforts to develop and grow this important new programming area.

Newsletter Editor– Sally Bernstein

As a Senior Manager in PricewaterhouseCoopers's (PwC) Advisory group in Boston, Sally Bernstein has extensive experience in project management, is a certified Project Management Professional, has managed several large scale Project Offices and is a national instructor for our firm’s project management training program.  Sally was also a reviewer for the 2000 and 2004 release of the PMBOK Guide and has contributed to the PM Journal magazine.  Since joining PwC 6 years ago, Sally has focused on serving Consumer Products and Services clients.  She has over 10 years experience providing project management and consulting services.  We’re excited to have Sally serving as editor of the Chapter’s e-newsletter.
