President's Letter

Dear Colleagues,

Dear PMI Colleague:

NETWORKING: It can make or break you!

We have all read books and articles that tell us how important this skill is.  We have all heard how networking is critical to our professional survival.  The question is - how do we network effectively and efficiently so our efforts help us land that all important new contract or job.

Your "network" consists of your contacts, both personal and professional.  Networking involves maintaining existing contacts as well as continuously expanding your list.  Networking contacts can connect you with other important people. They provide a name, a "heads up", and maybe even a "leg up" in competitive professional situations.

Forget about relying upon luck.  Networking is something you make happen!

Attend the PMI Mass Bay Chapter meeting on April 15 and hear Michelle LaBrosse of Cheetah Learning present networking tricks of the trade.  As a successful entrepreneur, Michelle uses powerful yet amazingly simple techniques you can adopt to help you build and maintain a network of contacts which can, in turn, help you meet your goals.

Sincerely,

Lalig J. Musserian

President
