Presentation Review Team

A team of five volunteers, including a Project Manager, reviews the monthly speaker presentation drafts and sends comments/suggestions to the speaker prior to the Chapter meetings.  This team provides a great service to the membership by ensuring that presentations meet the needs of our members, and offer the most value to our Chapter.

Membership:

*   Please join me saying “Hello” to Mitra Vahedi who recently joined the Chapter as the Project Manager of this team.  Welcome, Mitra, and thank you for volunteering for this role.

*   A special “Thank You” to the on-going members of this team who provide valuable feedback to speakers on a monthly basis: Robert Sommer, Tom Carter,  E. Robert St Germain, and Nadim Daou.

*   And a fond “Farewell” to Hugh McLaughlin, who chaired this team for several years and through many presentations.  Thank you Hugh, for your dedication in this role!

Breakfast Meeting Roundtables

A team of nine volunteers, including a Program Manager, that organizes the monthly breakfast meetings that are held in four locations in and around Boston.  This forum provides Chapter members with another way to meet their colleagues and share valuable project management tools, techniques, and situations.  For more information or to register for a Breakfast Meeting Roundtable, visit the Chapter website at www.pmimassbay.org.

*   Jeff Adams joined the team as the Program Manager and has been instrumental in working with the new team of volunteers to kick off the initiative.  Our first series of meetings were held in January in downtown Boston, metro North, metro South, and metro West.  Thank you to all the volunteers and to those of you who showed up for the first meetings!
