How Microsoft Project Server Supports a Renewed Corporate Initiative to Manage Projects

On February 7th, 2005, Parsons Brinckerhoff, a world-wide engineering and planning firm and Pcubed, a leading Microsoft Certified Partner in Microsoft Project Server, will present to the Boston Chapter of MPUG.  They will present a customer case study showcasing the benefits of an integrated Microsoft Project Server EPM environment with Oracle’s financial suite to control projects. Marie Gunnerson of Parsons Brinckerhoff will present the business need and benefits of MS Project Server EPM and Oracle integration while addressing team dynamics; Bill Raymond of Pcubed will present the technical details on the integration solution.

Taking the Pulse of Project Management

This article presents an overview of initial findings from a one year ongoing survey conducted by PCI global, an international Project Management training and consulting company. The survey was conducted with one hundred practicing team members and project leaders from several of PCI’s Fortune 500 clients. The findings raise serious questions about how organizations deal with projects.
