CIO Forum and Panel Discussion:  Emerging Trends in Project Management and the CIO Point of View of Project Management  - 2 PDUS

Don't miss this extraordinary opportunity!  PMI Mass Bay is partnering with local industry leaders to present this CIO Forum and Panel Discussion.

In session one, the Corporate Executive Board's IT Practice will present research findings on "Project Managing to Business Outcomes" based on its work with over 1000 CIOs and heads of Project Management Offices (PMO) at large and medium-sized corporations.  Jaime Capella, the Managing Director of the PMO Executive Council and CIO Executive Board, will discuss how CIOs are aligning investments to their 2010 priorities and the leadership tools and techniques that PMs can use to ensure the delivery of benefits from those investments.

Following this presentation and dinner, there will be a CIO Forum, featuring seven CIO's of Fortune 500 companies.  The objective of this session is for the CIO's to provide insight into the boardroom and backroom discussions around strategic project investment decision making and how C-level executives align projects to corporate strategies.  Each CIO will be asked to speak on a specific topic for about 15 minutes.  The panel will be moderated by Amit Mukherjee, PhD, of Ashan Advisors, and there will be a 15-minute Q & A session to follow.
