2010 Bylaws Election Information
On behalf of the PMI Mass Bay Board of Directors we would like to share with you the results of December’s vote on the 2010 Bylaws. Over 15% of the ballots were completed, a resounding success! We are proud to announce that the Membership has approved the updated bylaws by an overwhelming 97 percent!
In addition to providing the framework necessary to meet the evolving needs of the Membership this initiative has provided the Chapter with a blueprint to leverage during future elections. Some of the new tools and techniques employed include a central repository in the form of a dedicated webpage, FAQs, a forum for Membership feedback, and our first ever Virtual Town Hall.
As the Board transitions to its new structure we will continue to keep you informed throughout the process. In the coming weeks the Bylaws webpage will be updated with the transition plan and targeted Key Dates. Additionally, we will continue to address member’s questions and incorporating them into the FAQ section. Be sure to visit this webpage regularly.
In closing, the Board of Directors would like to extend a heart felt thank you to all of the volunteers whose tireless efforts made this initiative a successful one!
